10/80 Unidentified Monument, about lm south-east of Tainton Monument in churchyard of Church of St. Mary the Virgin.

GV II

Chest tomb, early C19 (earliest decipherable inscription 1816). Limestone. Flat top, moulded plinth and capping on base. Rounded ends, with acanthus frieze and spiral moulded astragal and torus. Sides have plain flush panels with quadrant corners. Sinking badly to north at time of survey (November, 1984).
