Description
This is a coach and pedestrian gateway located approximately 100 meters northeast of Skaiteshill House, dating from the early 19th century. It features ashlar limestone piers with iron gates. The gateway consists of three piers, each with round arched recessed panels on the front faces and a high moulded plinth. The top of the piers is moulded with cross-gabled weathered coping and supporting corner brackets. The contemporary gates have a railed lower half, with the rails topped by decorative spear points, diagonal bracing, and top corner scrolls.
