Description

This is a chest tomb dated 1672, located about 2 meters east of the Neale Monument in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin. It is made of limestone and features a heavy rounded top with a moulded plinth and capping. The corners have large quarter balusters, with a central plain strip and foliage on the ends. The sides are adorned with plain moulded rectangular panels, also flanked by a foliage strip. At the time of the survey in November 1984, the tomb was partially overgrown and sinking to the northwest.
