Two Unidentified Monuments,About 3M North-North-East Of Parslow Monument In Churchyard Of Church Of St Mary The Virgin

There are two unidentified monuments located about 3 meters north-north-east of the Parslow Monument in the churchyard of the Church of St Mary the Virgin. These chest tombs date from the late 18th century and are made of limestone.

The southern tomb features a flat top, a moulded plinth, and capping, with indented corners. Its end panels have a fluted frieze with returns, a central raised rosette on the frieze, and sunk ovals with relief rosettes in the spandrels. The sides display large projecting ovals with rosettes in the spandrels and a coved acanthus moulded frieze on a surrounding rectangular panel.

The northern tomb has gadrooned quarter balusters, sunk rectangular end panels with rounded projections at the top and bottom, and double moulded side panels with eared corners.
