Description

This is a chest tomb from the mid-18th century located about 5 meters northeast of the Clutterbuck Monument in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin. It is made of limestone and features a flat top with a moulded capping. The plinth is not visible. The tomb has quarter baluster corners, although the southwest corner is missing. The east side has a plain end panel, while the west side displays a small cartouche. The north side features a plain fielded rectangular panel with relief strips on either side, and the south side has a plain fielded panel that appears to have been renewed.
