Description

The Neale Monument is a chest tomb located about 5 meters north of the Smith Monument in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin. It commemorates John Neale, who died in 1748. The tomb is made of limestone and features a flat top with a moulded plinth and capping on a large base. The ends of the tomb are plain, while the sides have sunk oval panels.
