ST 69 NE BERKELEY CHURCH LANE (Inset, Section D) (south side)

10/85 Group of 3 unidentified monuments, about 4m north of Tayler monument in churchyard of Church of St. Mary the Virgin.

GV II

3 almost identical chest tombs, middle tomb lying with end panels reversed from other two. Mid/late C18. Limestone. Flat tops, large moulded plinth and capping. Flattened lyre ends with fluted returns, cartouche to west and swag with base shell to east (vice versa for middle tomb). Sides have large moulded rectangular panels with eared corners.
