Description

This is a 19th-century milestone located on the west side of The Street in Uley. It is made of sandstone and features a cast iron plaque. The pillar measures approximately 450 mm by 300 mm and has a rounded top. The plaque, which is about 400 mm by 500 mm, has a semi-circular haunched head that displays the inscription 'ULEY' at the top, with 'DURSLEY 2; STROUD 7' below it.
