Description
No. 21 The Street is a dwelling and shop built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from squared and coursed limestone and has a Welsh slate roof with a bitumenised surface. The building is two storeys tall with an attic and features three windows on the first floor, which are sashes with glazing bars set within a plat band that includes a keystone. There is a central blind opening flanked by these windows, and above, there are two modern dormers. On the ground floor, to the left, there is a two-leaf modern door surrounded by a plat band with a keystone. To the right, there are two mid-19th century bowed shop fronts with stone stall risers and moulded fascias, featuring a central six-panel flush door also within a plat band and keystone.
