Description

No. 12 The Street is a detached dwelling built in the early 19th century. It features a rendered exterior and a Welsh slate roof with gable stacks, including one stack that is off centre to the right. The building is two storeys high and has a 2+1 window arrangement, with sash windows that include glazing bars set in flat painted stone surrounds with keystones. The entrance consists of a six-panel door situated in a Roman Doric doorcase with a pediment, located in the second bay. To the left, there is a one-storey extension that has one matching window. At the back, the original sash window with bars is positioned at the wall plane and is supported by wooden lintels, with a central staircase window at mid-level.
