SO 8000 NYMPSFIELD CHURCH STREET (south end)

17/336 Cow houses and shelter sheds approximately 30m to north east of Court Farmhouse (previously 23.6.52 listed as barn)

GV II

Three cow houses and linking shelter shed range. c1860, possibly by Benjamin Bucknall. Coursed rubble limestone; stone slate and plain tile roofs. Long cow house on east and west sides of yard with shelter shed on north side; further small cow house set back to east. West range has central segmental arched doorway with single-light casement to either side set well away. Three segmental arched doorways to east range with 2 window openings towards centre. Linking south-facing 8-bay shelter shed has rusticated tapering circular stone piers. Further small cow house set back to east, central doorway flanked by 2 stone-mullioned cross windows; further doorway to right. Loft hole in gable end. Forms part of group with Court Farmhouse (q.v.).
