Description

The lych gate to the Church of St Margaret was built in 1863 by S.S. Teulon. It is constructed from dressed squared limestone and features a stone slate roof. The axial wall has a pointed archway with a coped gable and flush buttresses at each end. Timber-framed brackets support a half-hipped roof on both sides of the masonry arch. The gate itself is made of timber. This design is notable for its uniqueness, reflecting Teulon's inventive style.
