Description
Street Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dated 1613. It is constructed of random rubble limestone, mostly covered in roughcast render, with brick chimneys and a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high.
The east front features a long range with various windows, primarily timber casements. In the center of the range, there is a moulded segmental arched doorway with a stone lintel that displays the date and carved trade marks, along with a hoodmould that has lozenge stops and a plank door. There are two additional plain doorways with raised rendered surrounds and plank doors. Towards the right end, there are two rows of pigeon holes beneath the eaves and a small stair light. The roof has four ridge-mounted brick chimneys that have been rebuilt.
An outbuilding is attached to the north end of the farmhouse. The south end features a gable end with an off-centre timber casement on the ground floor, which has a timber lintel. There are also two single-light windows on the upper floor and attic, all with hoodmoulds, though most are blocked. The interior has not been inspected. Nearby, there is a barn to the northeast, shelter sheds to the east, and additional shelter sheds to the northeast.
