Description
No. 7 Market Street is a dwelling and shop dating from the 16th century. The building features a rough render on a timber frame and a stone slate roof. It has a very narrow frontage with a gable facing the street and a return ridge roof. There is a stone stack on the right and a brick upper stage. The building is three storeys high, with a top floor that has one window, which is a three-light casement. The first floor has a sash window with glazing bars and a broad surround at the wall face. A new shop front has been added, cutting into the adjoining premises on the left, which is No. 9.
