Description

48A Long Street is a dwelling and shop that dates from the 18th century, with a front added in the mid-19th century. The building features a smooth rendered exterior on a timber frame and has a concrete tiled roof that is hidden behind a parapet. At the back, there are two gabled projections. The structure has two storeys and two windows, which are sash windows with glazing bars set into the wall face. The late 19th-century shop front consists of three bays and includes a door on the return, with a well-crafted six-panel door set back to the right.
