Description

No. 46 Long Street is a dwelling that was formerly a shop, dating from the 17th century or earlier. It features a rough render on a timber frame and a stone slate roof, with a large stone stack on the right side. The building has a single gable facing the street, which has the same detail as the larger gable of the adjoining No. 44. It stands three storeys tall with one window: a small fixed light in the gable and a square sash window without bars on the first floor. The 19th-century shop front projects from the main facade and includes a single large glazed pane and a glazed door on the left, flanked by pilasters. No. 46 was built at the same time as No. 44, and the details are similar.
