Description

No. 37 Long Street is a 17th-century dwelling and newsagent. It features rough render on a timber frame and has a double Roman tile roof. The building has a gable facing the street and a stack located at the right side of the ridge. It is three storeys high with one window. On the gable, there is a small fixed light set behind an 18th-century architrave at the wall face, and on the first floor, there is a broad 19th-century sash window with glazing bars. The shop front is modern, with a central glazed door. No. 37 was likely built as a pair with No. 35.
