Description

This is a range of three houses, now functioning as shops on the ground floor, dating from the early 18th century. The building is constructed of coursed and dressed rubble stone and features a hipped slate roof with three stone ridge stacks. It is arranged in an L shape and has two storeys plus an attic. There are six sash windows and 12-pane gabled dormers with twin casements. The ground floor has been altered by shop extensions that extend forward of the front wall. The side facade of No. 2 High Street includes a door, a canted bay, a small sash window, and a projecting stone structure, which is likely a truncated chimney stack.
