Description

No 4 High Street is a former pair of houses that has been converted into one unit. It dates from the late 18th century and features a rendered exterior with stone dressings and a slate roof, supported by three brick stacks. The building stands three storeys tall, with each storey having two sash windows. The first-floor windows are adorned with voussoirs and grooved keystones, while there is a canted bay window on the right side of the ground floor. To the left, there is an impressive round-headed projecting doorcase, which includes panelling and fluted architraves. The entrance features a fielded six-panel door topped with a traceried fanlight.
