Description

This is a late 18th-century house on Newland Street. The exterior is finished with incised render and has a parapet wall and a slate roof. Chimneys are not visible. The house is three storeys high with two windows on each floor. The windows are glazing bar sashes, with a wider, triple-sashed window on the ground floor. A round-arched doorway is located to the right of the facade, constructed with equal-sized voussoirs. The doorway currently has a 20th-century door, and the fanlight above the door has been blocked. The building is listed for its group value alongside numbers 6 and 10 Newland Street.
