Description
No. 6 Newland Street is a house that has been converted into a shop on the ground floor. It dates from the late 18th century and features incised render, a parapet wall with a moulded cornice, and a slate roof, although the stacks are not visible. The building stands three storeys high and has two windows with glazing bar sashes. The ground floor includes a large square plate glass shop front on the left and a door on the right, both framed by reeded stone architraves, a moulded cornice, and carved decoration in the corner panels. The entrance features a six-panel door with decorative panels and a double XX fanlight, along with a mud scraper to the right of the door.
