Description

Milestone located about a quarter of a mile east of the Speech House Hotel, dating from the 19th century. It is a single stone with a slightly chambered top. The inscription, painted in black, reads 'To Coleford 3 Miles Gloucester 16 London 121', with a decorative scroll below. There is a bench mark on the top of the stone.
