Description

This milestone, located about 275 meters east of Cannop crossroads, dates from the 19th century. It is made from a single stone with a slightly curved top and has tooled sides. The inscription is painted in black and reads, "To Coleford 2 Miles Gloucester 17 London 122," with a decorative scroll beneath. There is also a bench mark on the side.
