Description
Hoarthorns Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed with roughcast and a slate roof, featuring two brick end stacks. The building is three storeys high and has a cellar. Originally L-shaped, the southeast corner has been altered in the 20th century to create a more even range. The facade includes three windows with triple 6-pane casements beneath cambered heads on both the left and right, and a twin casement window in the center. On the ground floor, there are triple sash windows with heavy framing, arranged in a 4, 8, and 4-pane configuration on the left and right sides. The central entrance features a boarded door from the 19th century, set in its original frame and sheltered by a gabled hood supported on brackets. Inside, some large chamfered beams remain.
