Description

LYDNEY CHURCH ROAD SO 60 SW (east side) 7/74 Monument to MARY HOOK in the churchyard clm south of the south-east corner of the choir vestry of the church of St Mary - II Pedestal tomb. Late C18. Sandstone. Urn on fluted domical top to square slab with inset corners, moulded edge and fluted frieze, panels with rosettes east and west and laurel embellishment to south, moulded base on plinth and flat slab. Inscription to Mary Hook, 1794, beneath that to Hannah Hook, 1819.
