Description

The monument to Mary Evans is a chest tomb located in the churchyard approximately 9 metres south of the southeast buttress of the tower of the Church of St Mary. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of sandstone. The tomb features a flat inscribed top with a chamfered edge, panels that have sunk margins, and a chamfered base. It commemorates Mary Evans, who passed away in 1793, and is situated just east of the path leading to the church entrance.
