Description
This former wash house, now used as a store, is located approximately 5 meters east of Number 53 in Great Barrington. It dates from the 19th century and is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a stone slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan with a small single bay extension at one gable end. The main body features a 19th-century plank door and a two-light casement window with leaded panes to the left of the door. There is also a plank door to the extension, which is set back to the right. Ashlar stacks are present at the gable end of both the main body and the extension. The interior has not been inspected. This structure is part of the Barrington Park Estate.
