Description
No. 3 London Street is a late 18th-century house that includes a ground floor shop. The building is constructed of coursed rubble stone with raised alternating quoins and features a stone slate roof with a brick end stack on the right. It is a single range, two-storey structure with three windows, which are 12-pane sashes set in plain stone architraves. The ground floor has a large 4-pane 19th-century shop window on the left and a smaller plate glass window in a quoin surround on the right. There is a central recessed half-glazed door within an altered plain stone architrave. To the far left, there is a recessed 6-panel door, with four panels recessed and two lower panels flush, topped with a transom light.
