Description

No. 2 Market Place is a house that includes a ground floor shop, likely built in the mid-18th century. The front is rendered and features a parapet wall with a plat band that aligns with No. 1 next door. The roof is made of stone slate, with corrugated asbestos at the rear, and there is a rendered ridge stack that has been raised in brick. The building is a single small range and has two storeys. On the first floor, there are three small 20th-century single lights, and below, there is a 20th-century shop front beneath a moulded stone cornice.
