Description

No 4 is an end cottage in a row located on Main Street in Bourton-on-the-Hill. It is dated and initialled R/1885 between the first-floor windows. There is a 20th-century flat roof extension on the right, which is not of special interest. The cottage is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a limestone slate roof featuring limestone gable coping. There are 20th-century artificial stone stacks. The building has two storeys and is two-windowed, with 2-light metal casements that have leaded panes. A stable-type plank door is located at the lower left. The interior has not been inspected.
