Description

No 140 is a cottage located at the end of a row, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble stone and features a stone slate roof with a brick stack on the right side. The building is two stories tall with an attic and has two windows on the front facade. There is a planked door situated in a trellis porch on the left, with a 2-light chamfered mullioned casement to the right. On the first floor, there are two additional 2-light mullioned casements. The attic includes a hipped dormer with a 2-light casement. The right side of the cottage has a lean-to extension that matches the style of the main building. At the rear, there is a 3-light mullioned casement on the first floor.
