Dated 1837, typical farmhouse of the period in spite of alterations. Coursed and dressed rubble. Slate roofs, coped verges, ashlar and chimneys. Two storeys; 3 windows, segmental heads, with modern glazing. Central projecting porch with tall parapet and moulded cornice. Two projecting wings to rear with modern central entrance lobby now with datestone. Lower extensions with tiled roofs from yard entered by gate.

In front, to north, semi-circular garden enclosed by wall about 2 ft 6 ins high with gate piers axial with front door; side walls project from house, about 7 ft high, with doors in them, form returns.
