Description
Hey Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of rubble that has been cement washed, and features a stone slate roof with stone coping. The main entrance has a doorway with a three-centred arch beneath a square head, and there is a four-light chamfered stone mullion window with drip labels. Above this, there is a similar three-light window. Other windows have been altered and replaced with modern casements, and a porch was added in 1983. On the right-hand return, there is a plain door and a two-light window on the ground floor, a three-light window on the first floor, and a dovecote in the gable. The right-hand return also features a broad external chimney.
