Description

Cockshott Bridge is an accommodation bridge built in 1794, designed by engineer Robert Whitworth. It is constructed of dressed stone and features a single elliptical arch made with rock-faced voussoirs. The bridge has solid parapets, and its curved abutments terminate in piers.
