Description
The Anchor Inn is a public house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of dressed stone with ashlar quoins and features a stone slate roof with coping on the right side. The upper storey has four plain windows, while the ground floor includes one single-light window, one two-light window, and one three-light window, the latter of which has a round central light. The entrance boasts a heavy Palladian doorway complete with a pediment, a cyma frieze, a radiating quintuple keystone, and rusticated jambs.
