Description

Salterforth Bridge Number 151 is a public road bridge built in 1794, designed by engineer Robert Whitworth. It is constructed of dressed stone and features a single elliptical arch made with rock-faced voussoirs. The bridge has a punched band and a solid, coped parapet, with curved abutment ends that terminate in piers.
