Description

Lower Calf Hall Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that was altered in the 18th century. It is constructed of painted rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and includes a lean-to porch, which is a later addition. On the ground floor, there are two 17th-century chamfered window openings with moulded and returned dripstones, although all the mullions have been removed. The first floor has 18th-century four-light windows, with the right-hand window having had two mullions removed. A stepped 17th-century chimney breast is located at the west end of the farmhouse.
