Description

Brook Cottage is a mid-19th century, two-storey, gable-fronted cottage that features more ornamentation than the nearby Rose Cottage. The building is constructed of coursed rubble and has a low-pitched slate roof. Notable architectural details include a scalloped bargeboard and a blind oculus on the front gable, as well as bands above the ground and first floors. It has three windows with glazing bar sashes and modern glazed doors in the center. The eaves band on the south side is also scalloped.
