Description
Dated 1851, Lower Terrace comprises three pairs of two-storey and attic, semi-detached cottages linked by single-storey lobbies and accessed from the rear. Constructed of coursed rubble, the buildings feature slate roofs and chimneys located in the central ridge position. Each unit has a 1:2:1 bay arrangement, with 2-light and 3-light casement windows featuring 4-centred arch heads, designed in an Estate style reminiscent of Northwick or Batsford. Scalloped bargeboards are present on the gables and eaves.
