Description
Fields Farmhouse is a detached house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of random limestone rubble, with the south gable end rendered, and features dressed stone quoins and a stone slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan and is two storeys high with an attic. The east front has two windows, which include flat-chamfered stone-mullioned casements, as well as single-light, two-light, and three-light stone-mullioned casements on the gable end. Access is provided through a 20th-century porch at the south gable end. There is a single axial stack. The interior has not been inspected. A 20th-century lean-to at the rear is not considered of special interest.
