Description
Corner Cottage is a detached house dating from the late 17th to early 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with dressed stone quoins and features a stone slate roof. The stacks were restored in the 20th century and also have dressed stone quoins. The building has a rectangular plan, possibly with a stair projection at the south-west corner. It stands two storeys high with an attic and has a two-windowed facade. This facade is lit by two-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements, which have moulded hoods over the ground floor windows. There is a part-glazed door from the 20th century with a concrete lintel located to the lower left. Each gable end has a single-light attic window with double-chamfered dressed stone surrounds, and there are gable-end stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
