Description

The bridge at the southern end of the former lake in the grounds of Rendcomb College was built in the mid-1860s. It spans the River Churn and is constructed of punch-dressed limestone with an ashlar parapet. The bridge features a single segmental-headed arch that includes a keystone and a decorative band above the keystone. The parapet is designed with a pierced guilloche motif and has moulded brackets at each end.
