Description
Waterton Farm House is a detached house, likely built in the early 18th century. It is constructed from random coursed rubble stone, partly limewashed, and features large alternating flush quoins. The roof is made of stone slate, and there are stone end stacks with offset and moulded cornices on the east side. The house consists of a single main range with a small extension to the northeast and an adjoining lean-to. It has two storeys and an attic.
The south front displays two widely spaced long twin wooden casements, with two similar windows below and an additional one on the inside to the left of a later projecting hipped porch. All windows have timber lintels. There are also two small gabled dormers. The north side has scattered fenestration, featuring all 2-light leaded casements with timber lintels, and there is one blocked doorway towards the left.
