Description

The stable located north-west of Amphlett House dates from the mid 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan with a small extension at the west gable end and is a single storey. There are two stable doors at the center, which are fitted with strap hinges. To the left, there is a single-light window, while to the right, there is a blocked 2-light window. Stone steps at the left gable end provide access to the loft, and the extension behind the steps is currently used as a garage. This stable is situated in a prominent location near the road and is in close proximity to Amphlett House. The interior has not been inspected.
