Description
Ivy Villa is a detached house dating from the late 18th century, positioned with its gable end facing the street. The building is constructed of random coursed rubble stone, featuring alternating flush quoins, and has a stone slate roof with stone stacks at the ends and ridge. It is a single range with a rear outshut and a small lean-to on the left side, standing two storeys tall with an attic in the gable end.
The front facade has five windows: two 12-pane sash windows on the left, one of which is blocked, and three 16-pane sash windows on the right, all set in flush stone surrounds. On the ground floor, there is a plank door at the far left, accompanied by a 20th-century window and a glazed door immediately to the right. Below the first floor, there are three 16-pane sashes similar to those above, along with a recessed door in the second bay from the left, which features four moulded recessed panels. Additionally, there is a blocked doorway located between the third and fourth bays.
