Description

No. 1 Coronation Street is a house in a row, built in the late 18th century. It features an incised render front on a plinth and has a low-pitched slate roof with a brick end stack on the left. The house is three storeys high and has a single range with a rear wing to the left. There are two windows on each floor, all of which are 9-pane sashes. On the ground floor, there is a central window; however, the original central doorcase and the right-hand window have been reversed. The doorcase is made of wood and includes moulded pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice, with a door that has two glazed panels and one lower flush panel. To the left, there is a low section with garage doors on the ground floor, which are not of special interest.
