Description
Milton House is a house situated at the end of a row, likely dating from the early 18th century. It is located on the north side of Milton Street in Fairford. The building has an incised-render facade, a slate roof, and stone stacks at the ends and ridge, with one brick ridge stack. It is a single-range building with a through passage, extending over two storeys and originally featuring four windows. These windows are now paired wooden casements. On the ground floor, there are three 3-light casements, positioned so that they do not directly align with the upper floor windows. A doorway, with a plain stone surround and a recessed 6-panel door (the top two panels glazed, the remainder flush), is located under the second bay from the left. The interior has not been inspected but may contain features of interest.
