Description

No. 15 The Green is a house located at the end of a terrace, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with quoins on the right side, topped with a Cotswold stone slate roof featuring coped verges and two stone gable stacks. The building is a small single range with a rear extension and stands three storeys tall.

The front facade includes one window on the upper floors, which is a 19th-century four-pane small sash set within a large stone reveal and a prominent lintel that has a marked keystone. The ground floor features a larger 19th-century six-pane sash window with a similar stone surround. Additionally, there is a single four-pane light that intersects the eaves level, topped with a flat roof.

To the left of the facade, there is a door wing that has a flat wooden door hood supported by consoles carved with clamshells and patera. This is situated above a large incised lintel and a four-panel door, where the top two panels are glazed.
