Description
No. 24 The Green is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble sandstone and features a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays, with quoins on the left side. The central entrance consists of a part-glazed 20th-century four-panel door set within an ashlar surround. This surround includes bases and an open pediment supported by undercut brackets adorned with paterae. The house has 16-pane sash windows, each with ashlar projecting sills and deep lintels. To the left, there is ashlar coping, and the end stacks, rebuilt in brick, include one that is slightly external on the left side.
