Description

Number 26 on The Green is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble sandstone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and one bay. On the ground floor to the left, there is a part-glazed door set within an ashlar architrave, topped by a slab pediment supported by cyma recta brackets. The windows are 16-pane sash types, with projecting ashlar sills and deep lintels. A stack is located at the right end, with the upper part made of brick.
